Real star positions
Every star comes from the Hipparcos catalogue with its actual coordinates, calculated for the exact moment and place printed on your poster. Not decorative dots.
Correct orientation
East is on the left, as on any real sky chart — because you are looking up at the sky, not down at a map. Most star map prints get this backwards.
True brightness
Star sizes follow real apparent magnitude. Sirius looks brighter than Rigel because it is brighter.
